Link Widget and Reference Site Update

The last two days I have been busy fixing my reference site - 5starfoodie.com - where I keep the history charts and the formal reviews for all the 5 Star Restaurants as well as my recipe collection archives and the link widget. Someone actually hacked into the database and I wasn't able to clean it successfully so I had to go back to a very old backup which means I lost a lot of data. The data can be restored manually but it may take me a while to complete.

The database was probably hacked via the link widget that some of you may have been using. I have decided, at least for now, that I will no longer support that feature. If you were one of the active users of the widget and need your data, please contact me via email, and I may be able to send you your links.

Due to this situation, I was also not able to do my blog reading as usual and I am very much behind returning comments. I will try to catch up with all your blog posts this weekend.
