Real Simple Magazine Review

This week I received a copy of the March Issue of Real Simple magazine from Time Inc. to review. Among the other sections that cover fashion, beauty, and lifestyle, there is an extensive section about easy and delicious food. Some of the articles include a feature on six delicious dinners without the usual mealtime hassles, a test of many different varieties of packaged sliced cheese, a recipe for easy Chai Tea, and different ideas on how to spice up chicken cutlets. An article on five easy weeknight meals include recipes such as heart-healthy Seared scallops with snow peas and orange, slow cooker Ale-braised corned beef, Brussels sprouts, and carrots, and vegetarian Butternut squash flat bread with Cheddar and pine nuts.
Also, there are recipes and ideas for cooking with beans that you can check out at http://realsimple.com/beans.

While the recipes may not be as gourmet as featured in such magazines as Bon Appetit, Real Simple offers great ideas for easy meals with simple ingredients that are useful for every day cooking.
